I am a Senior Lecturer in law specialising in the enforcement of international law and human rights law. I am the author of Critically Examining The Case Against the Human Rights Act (Routledge, 2017) Defensive Relativism: The use of Cultural Relativism in International Legal Argument (U Penn Press - Forthcoming) and I am currently writing a book on treaty withdrawal.
I completed my PhD in international legal theory, looking at how post-colonialism affects opposition to the institutional protection of human rights. I previously worked in legal positions at a number of NGOs as a legal advisor, lectured in Law at three Universities and trained as a barrister.
