Emeritus professor, La Trobe University

Geoff Prince was the Director of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) from 2009 until 2018 when he retired.

He is currently Vice-President of the Australian Mathematical Society

Geoff has a long academic career as a teacher and researcher at RMIT, UNE and La Trobe University where he was Head of Department. He is now Emeritus Professor at La Trobe University where he spent most of his academic life. He works in differential geometry, differential equations and their application.
