Coordinator of Studies: Systematic Theology, Pilgrim Theological College, University of Divinity

Geoff Thompson teaches systematic theology (doctrine) at Pilgrim Theological College in Melbourne, and is Associate Professor within the University of Divinity.

His current research is focused on the nature and functions of doctrine as an intellectual discourse. He has published several journal articles and book chapters on the twentieth-century Swiss Reformed theologian, Karl Barth. His publications also include popular and academic books and articles on the theology of the Uniting Church in Australia.

He is a member of the Centre for Religion and Social Policy.
