Geoff Warren is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Applied Statistics at The Australian National University. Geoff teaches Applied Portfolio Construction and Corporate Valuation. He researches in investment-related areas including fund management, portfolio construction, asset pricing and valuation. His research tends to have an applied focus, and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining ANU, Geoff was Director of Capital Markets Research at Russell Investments in Australia. Previously, he spent 14 years within the research department of investment bank Ord Minnett and then JP Morgan, in various roles including company analyst, strategist and head of research. Geoff also spent 3 years as an equity portfolio manager with AMP Investments.
Geoff has a doctorate in finance from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of NSW.
