George Van Doorn

George is a senior lecturer and researcher in Psychology at Federation University Australia. Prior to working at FedUni, George worked at Monash University as a lecturer in Psychological Studies. He has over 30 publications in areas such as sensory integration, temperature perception, illusions, and self- and externally-generated movement. His predominant interest, currently, lies in exploring illusions (e.g., the body-swapping illusion) and assessing whether existing theories (e.g., active inference) are consistent with participants' experiences.
