PhD Candidate, University of Leeds

George Wilson is a research assistant and doctoral candidate in law at the School of Law, University of Leeds. His research interests are labour law, industrial relations, governance and regulation. His doctoral thesis explores the legal implications of proposals for a European Union minimum wage policy.

In the summer of 2014, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin Law School, USA, working on his WUN funded project 'Exploring 'New' Normative Hybridity in European Industrial Relations'. His doctoral studies have been fully-funded by a School of Law research scholarship. His research profile also includes academic publications, teaching, writing for the media, and presenting at national and international conferences.
