Gilles Brocard

I am a geomorphologist and structural geologist, interested in neotectonics, paleoseismology, and the mechanisms that control evolution of river valleys and drainage networks. I also study the feedbacks between vegetation and landscape evolution.

My main field areas are the European Alps, Southern Spain, Turkey, Puerto Rico, and Guatemala, with more recent interest in Papua New Guinea and Western Australia.
