Greg Elmer

Greg Elmer is Bell Media Research Chair at Ryerson University and Principal Investigator of the Canadian Disinformation Network . Previously Professor Elmer held full time appointments at the University of Pittsburgh, Boston College, Florida State University, and visiting fellowships at the London School of Economics, Goldsmiths College, Yeungnam University, Manchester University, and Erasmus University. His numerous publications analyze the relationship between digital media, surveillance and politics. Professor Elmer has also produced a series of award winning documentary films, including Preempting Dissent (with Andy Opel), The Canadian Delegation, and The Politics of Preemption.
