I am a historical linguist of the Indo-European languages, with a main focus on Scandinavian and Germanic. I am currently working as a postdoc at Copenhagen University, and this is also where I finished my Etymological Dictionary of Proto-Germanic (2013). I love to study living languages, especially lesser known varieties including Elfdalian and Cimbrian, as well as dead ones, such as Old Norse, Gothic and Middle Welsh. Each language, no matter how small, tells a unique story about its people and their past.
