Haithem TLILI worked for several years on the taxonomy and ecology of grasshoppers and locusts in North Africa as a Ph.D. student. He is involved in the survey and identification of grasshoppers. He is gaining an intense experience on the taxonomy and distribution of these species. He is Also participating in the knowledge database 'Northwest Africa grasshoppers and locusts" of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, and Orthoptera species files by documenting the distributions of the species.
