Hans Bauer

For 25 years I have been working on biodiversity conservation, particularly across West, Central and the Horn of Africa. Currently employed by the University of Oxford, I have authored ~100 professional and scientific publications, including the IUCN Red List assessment for the lion. With an interdisciplinary conservation science background, I have focused on human-wildlife conflict, protected area management, sustainable development and capacity strengthening.
