Harry Bowles

Harry is a Lecturer in Physical Education in the Department for Health at the University of Bath and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Harry joined the Department for Health in January 2020 having previously held a lectureship in Physical Education and Youth Sport at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Harry's research interests and expertise focus on the sociology of youth in the context of sport and physical cultures. He is a member of the Centre for Equality in Sport, Physical Activity and Health at the University of Bath contributing to research that aims to increase understanding of the individual, socio-cultural and structural factors that influence opportunities and experiences in sport, health and physical activity across the life course.
