My research interests are in the field of leadership studies—specifically, how leaders lead effectively under duress. What I’ve learned so far: good leaders do not let crises go to waste. My most extensive report is contained in the book Navigating an Organizational Crisis: When Leadership Matters Most (Praeger: 2016, with Martha Johnson).
