Helena Roquet Pugès

I am the Director of the Institute for Multilingualism and Applied Linguistics Department at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona), where I am a Professor of Foreign Language Acquisition both at graduate and postgraduate levels. I completed my PhD in Second Language Acquisition at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in July 2011. I am a member of the official GRAM (Research Group on Multilingual Acquisition) at the UIC and have participated in several research projects funded at national and international levels. My main research interests lie within the field of second and third language acquisition, multilingualism development, CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), ICLHE (Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education) and EMI (English Medium Instruction).
