Hervita Diatri

Hervita Diatri is a psychiatrist at Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital in Jakarta. She is also a lecturer and head of the inpatient unit at the Department of Psychiatry at University of Indonesia.

She is the secretary of the National Task Force on Mental Health System Development in Indonesia, a collaboration between Indonesia’s Health Ministry and Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.

Hervita was a fellow of Australian Leadership Awards Fellowship for Strengthening and Facilitating the Development of Mental Health Workforce in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province.

Hervita’s research interest is in community psychiatry. She has extensively research on the practice of shackling in Indonesia.
