Howard Carter is a Research Associate in the School of Sport Science, Exercise and Health at The University of Western Australia. His main interests are in the effects of exercise on cardiovascular and thermoregulatory function in individuals of all ages and in clinical populations. More specifically, he focuses on studying the stimuli that are necessary to induce beneficial adaptations in the small blood vessels in the skin, larger conduit arteries and the blood vessels in the brain.
