Researcher and lecturer in political geography, University of Oxford

I have been a post-doctoral researcher at the School of Geography and the Environment since 2013 and a tutor at Jesus College since 2014.

Situated within political geography, my work focuses on three areas: (1) German politics and geopolitics, (2) The European Union in its near abroad, (3) NATO, nuclear politics and the Cold War.

My recent work examines West German nuclear bunkers and atomic weapons storage sites. I am currently working this project into a book entitled 'Cryptic concrete: a subterranean journey into Cold War Germany', under contract with the Royal Geographical Society's book series at Wiley.
