Professor of Computing, Singapore Institute of Technology

Ian McLoughlin is a professor in the ICT cluster of Singapore Institute of Technology. He was previously a professor and Head of the School of Computing at the University of Kent, Medway, UK. He has worked for universities and R&D companies in the UK, New Zealand, China and Singapore and has consulted widely around the world. He has published 300 peer-reviewed articles and is author of the Cambridge University Press titles "Speech and Audio Processing" and "Applied Speech and Audio Processing" as well as two books with McGraw-Hill. He has a particularly strong international focus as well as a deep appreciation of Chinese language and culture.
