I specialize in institutional and political economy. I have a master degree in sociology and a PhD in resource economics. In my most recent research, I analyze social tipping dynamics for the stabilization of the Earth’s climate as well as the implications and implementation of human agency for modeling human-environmental system interactions. I also analyze environmental inequalities and the socio-metabolic implications of resource and energy, used to support lifestyles of different social groups. I work as a research associate at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and I teach at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
