I am a clinical researcher working on the development of new treatments for dementia. I am particularly interested in identifying those who are in the very earliest stages of the process leading to dementia; intervening at that point may be one of the best strategies to stop it before it causes lasting damage. I also work clinically for the NHS as a neuropsychiatrist, seeing patients whose mental health is affected by a variety of neurological or neurosurgical conditions.
