Jackleen de La Harpe

Jackleen de La Harpe is a journalist and editor and, until April 1, 2022, served as the founding executive director of Underscore News, a public service reporting team in the Pacific Northwest with a focus on Indigenous coverage. She was the founding director of Metcalf Institute for Marine + Environmental Reporting in Rhode Island. She earned degrees from Western Washington University (BA) and Reed College (MA) and lives in Portland, Oregon.
