Jackson Armstrong

Senior Lecturer in History, University of Aberdeen

Jackson Armstrong completed his BA (Honours) at Queen's University at Kingston (Canada), and a MPhil in Medieval History and a PhD at the University of Cambridge. He has been a member of the History department at the University of Aberdeen since 2008. He is the author of England's Northern Frontier: Conflict and Local Society in the Fifteenth-Century Scottish Marches (2020), and he has led the Aberdeen Burgh Records Project at the University of Aberdeen since 2012.
