Dr. Jako Nice is a senior lecturer at TUT and a professional principal architect at Studio Konstruk. He specialises in healthcare infrastructure and healthy building design, architecture and engineering approaches to infection control for surface and airborne contagion in the built environment. He holds a doctorate degree in architecture on the microbiology of the built environment, investigating microbiomes and architecture through applied spatial analytics aimed at reducing healthcare-associated infections.
