Clinician Scientist and Consultant Haematologist, University of Oxford

I am an MRC Clinician Scientist working at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine at the University of Oxford. My group focusses on combining genomics with cellular therapy. We are predominantly interested in understanding how the genome functions and in tandem with this using genome editing to develop novel cellular therapies. As a clinician I am dual qualified in intensive care medicine and haematology and I work as a consultant haematologist with allogeneic bone marrow transplant service in Oxford. My research interests include genome editing, developing high throughput sequencing methods and bioinformatics. I am also interested in biotech and am a co-founder of Nucleome Therapeutics.
