Jamie Bojko is a lecturer in biology with research expertise in aquatic pathology and invasion biology.

His research involves screening for and systematically identifying the symbionts of invertebrate hosts, primarily in crustaceans and molluscs.

He works primarily with microsporidia, bacteria and viruses, and uses histological, TEM, molecular diagnostic and metagenomic methods to better understand the microbiomes of invertebrates.
