Associate Professor of Economics, Lund University

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Lund University. In my research, I examine the determinants of and returns to human capital, in particular education and health. Geographically, my work covers both developed countries, especially in Europe, and developing countries, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Some questions I have tackled are: Which teaching practices are best for promoting student learning at school? How do your childhood peers affect your education in the long run? Do longer working hours affect our health? Is preschool really worth it? And how much does teachers' knowledge matter for their students' learning?
