Sessional lecturer and researcher, The University of Melbourne

Jana Perković is a performance and dance writer, dramaturg and urbanist. Her work focuses on the intersection between urban policy and arts, immersive design and performance practice, and geographical theories. She teaches at Victorian College of the Arts, and in Melbourne School of Design, at University of Melbourne.

Her writing on performance has appeared, among others, in The Guardian, Blouin ArtInfo, Goethe Institut's Tanzconnexions, RealTime, Exeunt Magazine, Dancehouse Diary, Crikey. She was the Literary Manager for MKA Theatre of New Writing 2012-2015. She also sat on the Green Room board for Hybrid and Alternative Performance, Puppetry and Circus (HAPPC), and was member of Artistic Counsel for Malthouse Theatre (2013-2015).
