Professor of Cognitive Psychology, Grinnell College

I teach courses in Cognitive Psychology, Decision Making, Psychology of Language, and Introduction to Psychology. I have interdisciplinary interests in policy analysis as it connects to decision making. My research interests center on memory and cognition, with specific interests in aging and implicit memory. After teaching a first year seminar on the psychology humor in 2015, I am researching links of humor as a character strength and cognition, fluency and creativity.
