Jeana Kriewaldt

Jeana Kriewaldt is a senior lecturer at the Melbourne Graduate School for Education, University of Melbourne. Jeana was a geography teacher for ten years before moving into teacher education. Her research spans geography and sustainability education and the related fields of professional knowledge, curriculum theory and teacher research. Her most recent edited book is 'Educating Future Teachers: Innovative Perspectives on Professional Experience'. She leads a project investigating the impact of innovations in feedback processes in the work-integrated learning programs and is currently investigating the impact of dialogue and learners’ perspectives in deepening the quality of teacher education programs. Jeana was a chief investigator in the successful ARC Linkage project Strengthening Standards of Teaching through Linking Standards and Teacher Learning.
