Jeff Babb has been a consulting Statistician since 1980. He has consulted with researchers in government, industry and academia from a wide variety of disciplines: anthropologists, cereals and oilseed chemists, biochemists and analytical chemists, climatologists, engineers, health care administrators, nurses, food scientists, agronomists, educators and educational psychologists, biologists, economists, environmental scientists, and medical sociologists.

He has been a faculty member at the University of Winnipeg since 2000 and was Chair of Mathematics & Statistics from 2004-2009. Previously he was Principal Consultant with the Statistical Advisory Service at the University of Manitoba from 1998-2000, and Biometrician with the Grain Research Laboratory of the Canadian Grain Commission from 1982-1998.
