Conservation and development practitioner having spent several decades in the field in Africa and Asia. Committed to finding practical solutions to natural resource problems and going beyond "threat-based" approaches. I have pioneered integrated landscape approaches to better resource management where we work in partnership with local people, NGOs, academics and the private sector. Based at James Cook University in Cairns, Australia and working mostly in Indonesia.
