Research Fellow in Coral Reef Monitoring and Reef Health Appraisal, Australian National University

I am interested in how humans impact the natural environment.For the last 20 years I have been studying coral reefs in the Caribbean, East Africa and Australia. My research focuses on how past, present and future environmental disturbances (natural and anthropogenic) influence ecological resilience and ecosystem development (e.g. biodiversity, coral recruitment, coral reef growth and erosion), and also how such disturbances impact resource management.
