Jennifer Castañeda-Navarrete is a Feminist Economist with 15 years' experience in policy analysis in developing and developed contexts. She has contributed and led reports for international organizations, including: Asian Development Bank, ASEAN Secretariat, Inter-American Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
Jennifer currently works as Senior Policy Analyst at Policy Links, the knowledge exchange unit of the Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (CSTI), University of Cambridge. Before joining the Policy Links unit, Jennifer worked in academia and in a regional ministry for industrial development in Mexico.
In 2012 Jennifer was awarded the Joan Prats prize for young researchers from the Research Institute Ortega y Gasset for the best paper in public policy. Jennifer holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK.
