Jenny Johnston

I am an academic GP and educationalist. My research employs a range of methodologies, including grounded theory, phenomenology and discourse analysis. My PhD work explores the construction of professional identity in general practice training. Other current projects focus on using sociocultural theory to explore assessment processes. As a clinician, my academic work is grounded in the need to improve patient care through high quality medical education research.
