Jesse van de Sande

ARC DECRA Fellow in Astronomy, University of Sydney

Dr. Jesse van de Sande is an astronomer at the University of Sydney. His research field is primarily galaxy formation and evolution, in particular using observations to measure the motions of stars within galaxies.

He completed his PhD at the Leiden University in the Netherlands, in 2014, with a thesis entitled: "Dawn of the Red and Dead: Stellar Kinematics of Massive Quiescent Galaxies out to z = 2".
