Jessica attained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Victoria and her Masters degree from the University of Idaho focusing on environmental science and avian ecology. She pioneered IBO’s hummingbird research program in 2011. She is an active member of the sub-committee for hummingbird banding with the North American Banding Council.
