Jessie D. Guest

Jessie received her Ph.D. from the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of South Carolina, where she now works as the Project Manager of the Carolina Transition to Teaching (T3) Grant as well as an adjunct faculty in the Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy. Jessie is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and a certified EMDR clinician. Her clinical experiences include working in schools and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and families who have endured trauma. Jessie’s research interests consist of mindfulness and well-being, play therapy, countertransference, and trauma.
