Jo Protheroe

Jo has been a practising GP for over 19 years and was appointed as Professor of General Practice in Keele Medical School in 2017, where she leads the Academic Primary Care team. She is a national expert in the field of Health Literacy, and has research expertise in shared decision-making; self-management and complex interventions.
