John B Winterburn

Former Honorary Research Associate for the Endangered Archaeology in the Middle East and North Africa (EAMENA) Project, University of Oxford

I am a Landscape and Modern Conflict Archaeologist with specialising in the landscapes of southern Jordan.
I am a frequent traveller to Jordan where I continue to research its archaeology and the history of The Great Arab Revolt ( 1916-1918) and T.E Lawrence.
As a Chartered Engineer, I worked in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years before following a long-held interest in archaeology and landscapes.
