Adjunct Professor in Faculty of Education QUT, Queensland University of Technology

Research interests include: Research philosophy and qualitative approaches in Education; Geographical and Environmental Education (including disaster education); curriculum development and online and blended pedagogies. I have long and successful experience in doctoral supervision and am currently external examiner for the B.Ed. / B.Soc.Sc. degree course in University of Hong Kong and most recently was visiting professor in the Institute for Primary Science Education at the University of Cologne.
