Jonathan Rose is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow on a project titled "Re-designing the Integrity Management Framework in the British, Chinese, and Hong Kong Public Services", co-funded by the UK's ESRC and Hong Kong Research Grants Council. This project is being conducted in the UK, where Dr. Rose is working with the project's principal investigator Prof. Paul Heywood, and colleagues in China and Hong Kong.

The project will focus on why reforms have come about, how they have been implemented, what difficulties they have encountered or given rise to, and to what extent they can provide an effective approach to ensuring integrity in the public sector. The research will also look at the mutual dependence between regulators and the regulated, the relationship among integrity management agencies, and the interplay between global drivers and national-level initiatives in the three cases under consideration.
