Joseph Blasi is a sociologist and the J. Robert Beyster Distinguished Professor at the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations and a Senior Fellow at The Aspen Institute. He is Director of the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers. The book, The Citizen's Share: Reducing Inequality in the 21st Century, was published by Yale University Press in 2013. The book, Shared Capitalism at Work, was published by the University of Chicago Press in 2010. Professor Blasi has a policy report on capital shares written for ThirdWay.org, a Washington think tank, called Having a Stake: Evidence and Implications for Broad-based Employee Stock Ownership and Profit Sharing.
