I am currently Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the BA Film and Television Studies at London Metropolitan University. I have previously been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Reading. I have a PhD in Film Studies and MA in Film Studies (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham, and a BA in Film and Television Studies and American Studies (First Class) from Brunel University. My publications include a variety of journal articles and book chapters and the following books: Billy Wilder, Movie-Maker: Critical Essays on the Films (McFarland, 2011) and When Frankie Went to Hollywood: Frank Sinatra and American Male Male Identity (University of Illinois Press, 2008).
