Karin Helwig is a researcher at Glasgow Caledonian University. For the past four years she has been investigating pharmaceutical pollution in the environment, first in the context of the PILLS Project, on input and elimination of pharmaceutical residue from local sources, and currently on the noPILLS Project, which focuses on the prevention of inputs of pharmaceutical pollution.
