Katarzyna Kosior

Researcher in Early Modern History, University of Southampton

I work on the history early modern European royal courts, especially France and Poland. My published work includes an essay on Bona Sforza, the Italian queen of Poland, and a forthcoming chapter about Anna Jagiellon, the elected Polish queen consort. I am currently writing about how early modern queens exercised their agency through counsel and preparing my monograph on ceremonies of becoming a queen in France and Poland for publication.
