Associate Professor in Modern History, Macquarie University

Kate Fullagar is an associate professor of Modern History at Macquarie University. She is the author of The Warrior, the Voyager, and the Artist: Three Lives in an Age of Empire (New Haven, 2020), The Savage Visit: New World People and Popular Imperial Culture in Britain (Berkeley, 2012), and co-editor with M. A. McDonnell of Facing Empire: Indigenous Experiences in a Revolutionary Age (Baltimore, 2018). She is currently co-editor of the AHA's journal, History Australia (2019-2022), and Lead Chief Investigator of the ARC Project, Facing New Worlds (facingnewworlds.org).
