Katherine Raines

Fellow and Lecturer, University of Stirling

I am a NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellow for the Radioactivity and the Environment Programme and a lecturer in Environmental Pollution at the University of Stirling.
I am interested in radiation protection of the environment and specifically radiation as both a single and multiple stressor in the ecosystem. My PhD focussed on understanding the effects of chronic low dose radiation on bumblebees by using laboratory studies and field studies in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
