Kathryn Fingland

Doctoral Researcher in Wildlife Conservation & Ecology, Nottingham Trent University

Kat is a part-time doctoral researcher at Nottingham Trent University. Her current research focuses on urban ecology of red squirrels: specifically how red squirrels utilise the urban environment and the influence of anthropogenic activities on their ecology, with an aim to develop a beneficial urban conservation strategy for this native species. She is also a part-time Academic Associate, lecturing in the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences.
