Dr Katrina Place Dernelley is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of the Inland in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, La Trobe University, Melbourne. Her research examines gender, home and colonisation on the central Victorian goldfields. Katrina currently works at Heritage Victoria. Katrina has degrees in Architectural History (University of Melbourne) and Interior Design (RMIT) and has worked as an architectural historian and heritage consultant for some of Australia's top firms.
