Kemran Mestan

Kemran Mestan is a Senior Researcher at the Access and Achievement Research Unit, Latrobe University. In this role he researchers issues related to equity and educational participation and performance.
He completed his PhD from in social policy at the Institute for Social Research, Swinburne University of Technology, on the topic of the welfare state and social participation.
He has previously been a Research Officer at the Research and Policy Centre of the Brotherhood of St Laurence. In this role he worked on a diversity of research projects relating to the causes and solutions to poverty in Australia.
